Danish teak commode Reoval – vintage design 1970s

This superb Danish teak chest of drawers, signed by the Reoval manufacture, perfectly embodies mid-20th century Scandinavian furniture. Made in Denmark around the 1970s, it combines a clean architectural line with real everyday functionality. Indeed, its balanced proportions allow this Danish teak chest of drawers to be easily integrated into a modern or vintage interior. This vintage chest stands out at first glance due to the remarkable quality of its natural teak veneer. The drawer fronts reveal a particularly warm golden grain, adding relief and depth to the entire piece. Additionally, this vintage Scandinavian chest features beautiful recessed brass handles. This detail, inspired by "country" or military officer styles, creates a refined contrast with the light wood. Finally, the tapered legs delicately elevate the body, lightening the overall silhouette of this Danish teak chest of drawers. Although compact, this Danish teak chest offers generous and well-thought-out storage volume. Its four sliding drawers can easily accommodate clothes, linens, or everyday accessories. Furthermore, each drawer benefits from a white interior finish, simple and very bright. This Scandinavian teak chest thus fits perfectly in a master bedroom, a welcoming entrance, or a cosy living room. Moreover, its versatility allows it to harmoniously interact with contemporary seating or mid-century teak sideboards. Type of furniture: 4-drawer chest. Manufacturer: Reoval.
