Pair of armchairs GFM-87 by Juliusz Kędziorek, GFM, Poland, 1960s.

A pair of "GFM87" armchairs, designed by Juliusz Kędziorek and produced in the Gościcińska Furniture Factory in the 1960s, exemplifies solid craftsmanship, made possible by the advanced machines of the factory. A feature of the GFM-87 model is the carefully designed ergonomic armrest and the turned cigar-shaped legs, which add distinction to the furniture. The frame of the chairs, made of solid beech wood, has undergone a restoration process. The upholstery and covering of the seats have also been replaced. These particular pieces are covered in a fabric blend of pink and cream colours, contrasting with the colour of the wood.
