1960s Danish Safari Chair by Kaare Klint

The original danish safari chair by Kaare Klint for rud. Rasmussen. First produced in 1933, this example was made in the 1960s from ash wood and now beautifully patinated leather. With leather seat, back and cushion, leather straps and brass detail it is a sturdy and elegant example. It is stamped "denmark" to the back struts and retains remnants of the retailer label to the underside. This chair is in very good condition for its age. There are no structural defects whatsoever.
