String shelves - Kajsa and Nisse Strinning - Wood, Metal

Original Swedish wall-mounted string shelf, in ash veneer by Nils & Kajsa, 1950s. Composed of four white metal ladders, with three shelves and a secretary with hinged door and three interior compartments. Beautifully finished. It is in very good condition, some minimal signs of wear and slightly discolored wood on the shelves due to the sun. But it is barely visible. Some paint chips on the metal uprights.
