Large antique turned wood mirror in bamboo style, late 19th century, 58 x 45 cm

Imposing antique wall mirror with a turned, carved bamboo-style wooden frame, dating from the late 19th century. Its large vertical format and richly crafted frame make it a decorative piece of character. The wood has a beautiful dark patina, and the ends are finely beveled. The overall dimensions are 67 cm high by 52 cm wide. The original mirror measures 48 X 36 cm as inscribed on the back. It is in very good condition, with only some minimal alterations to the stain, located at the top and bottom, without affecting readability or use. The wooden back is original, well fixed and stamped. The frame has some discreet chips (see close-up photos), without structural impact.
