Vintage U.S. Navy Table Knife – Kings Pattern Design – International Silver

Selling an authentic official table knife from the United States Navy (U.S. Navy), made by the renowned American company International Silver Company (INSCO). This ceremonial model with the prestigious "Kings Pattern" (Shell and Thread) design adorned the tables of senior officers' messes and admirals during the first half of the 20th century (World War II period). Features and Official Markings: On the handle (reverse): Institutional marking "USN" embossed directly into the silverware. On the blade (side 1): Beautiful official acid engraving depicting the intertwined naval anchor (foul anchor) topped with the stylised letters "U.S.N." On the blade (side 2): Manufacturer's stamp "INSCO STAINLESS" (International Silver Co. / Stainless steel). Condition: Good vintage used condition with a superb period patina. Some normal service micro-scratches on the blade and slight signs of natural oxidation on the heavy silver-plated handle, attesting to its authenticity (sold as is, not cleaned to preserve the original patina).
