A pair of thick glass globes that capture light like a cut stone and evoke a blooming flower, a stylized sunflower, or the sun, with a true sculptural presence even when turned off. When lit, these glasses offer a highly sought-after double effect: the translucent facets sparkle and refract light, while the frosted petals diffuse and soften it, creating a warm and graphic halo projected onto the wall or ceiling. This type of pressed-molded glass is characteristic of European production from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly from German and Bohemian glassworks. They naturally find their place in an entryway, hallway, bathroom, kitchen, or above a bed as wall sconces, or as ceiling lights in a small room. Their graphic quality complements both vintage interiors with warm wood and contemporary minimalist decor, arranged in a symmetrical duo on either side of a mirror or headboard. The glasses are presented in good visual condition, with minor signs of use and slight nuances typical of their age.
