Orange caramel glass ramekins Arcopal Volcan 1970s

Here is a beautiful set of 18 bowls from the Volcan collection of the famous brand Arcopal, made of moulded glass in caramel orange tones, typical of the 1970s, with a slight ribbed relief. The advantage of this collection is that the colouring is done throughout the material, so there is no risk of the patterns fading, unlike other Arcopal decorations. This collection dates back to 1970. Their simple shape is both very elegant and very practical as they are easy to clean. Moreover, Arcopal glass is known for being very strong, resistant to shocks as well as heat. And one last detail, which is not insignificant, the glass is completely inert, with no reaction to acids, as could be the case with certain ceramic glazes. These bowls bear the inscription "Arcopal France" under the base. They are in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even scratches; they have probably never been used, but some show slight irregularities in the colouring, which are original defects of the glass, barely visible, often found in this collection. They measure 8 cm in diameter and 3.8 cm in height.
