6 antique plates Creil & Montereau – Sunflower model – Late 19th century. A beautiful set of six antique flat plates in fine earthenware by Creil & Montereau, Sunflower model, with floral blue decoration from the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900). The decoration features stylised sunflowers and elongated foliage in an elegant asymmetrical composition. The colours are remarkably well preserved, with a bright and vibrant blue, adding a lot of freshness to the set. The plates have a moulded and decorative rim, highlighted by a regular blue combing. Condition: very good overall condition. No cracks or chips. Minor signs of use, manufacturing defects, some light browning of the ceramic and slight signs of age possible, consistent with their age.
