Empire style silver-plated metal tea and coffee service

A late 19th-century silver-plated coffee and tea service with blackened wood handles (4 pieces). In addition to the coffee and tea pots, it includes a sugar bowl and a creamer. This service is typical of a Napoleonic design. Besides the blackened wood handles, the zoomorphic motifs—the four "lion's paws" extending from palmette-shaped handles, and the ram's head-shaped spouts—symbolize the refinement of the late 19th century.
