Vase Vallauris made in the workshops of Vallauris, a small town located between Cannes and Antibes. The ceramics of the 1950s/1960s experienced a true liberation of forms and techniques previously used by artisans. Thus, several ceramics passing through the workshops of Vallauris bring their style, such as the couple Jacques and Danielle Ruellaud, who favour a simple yet colourful aesthetic with rounded geometric shapes like this vase. In brown and red, it boasts a beautiful height but especially a wide oval opening that can accommodate a lovely bouquet. The rounded and offset handles, along with the mix of red, orange, and white tones, as well as its beautiful shine, give it an undeniable allure. It shows some signs of wear but is in good condition, and it is stamped on the underside. Weight 1.3 kg. Height 28 cm. Width 18 cm. Depth 23 cm. Opening 17x12 cm.
