Pair of designer black marble bronze fish bookends

Pair of bookends with fish figures in gilded bronze fixed on rectangular black marble bases. French work from the 60s. Good overall condition. Note some common traces of use due to time in places: lack of gilding on the bronze in places and rare and small injuries on the marble bases in places (see photos and zoom in).
