Antique cut and engraved crystal carafe with floral decoration, Bohemia, 19th-20th century.

Elegant antique carafe from the late 19th or early 20th century, Bohemia, Czech Republic, made of cut and engraved crystal, adorned with a floral and vegetal design engraved with a wheel. The body is highlighted by a central engraved frieze, while the upper and lower parts feature regular cutting resting on a star-shaped base forming a slightly raised circular pedestal. The carafe is complemented by a simple flat crystal stopper, which is not the original stopper but a hand-numbered Baccarat stopper, consistent with the whole. Approximately 19 cm in height with the stopper, 16.5 cm without the stopper, with a maximum diameter of about 12 cm. Very good overall condition, with some fine usage scratches, a very slight deposit on the bottom that is hardly visible, discreet wear inside the neck, and a small chip that is not easily noticeable on the stopper, along with a few very small discreet knocks or chips on the edges and manufacturing defects, without impact. Approximately 800 g.
