Large silver-plated copper serving tray from the 19th century - 80 x 48 cm

Antique silver-plated serving tray circa 19th century in good condition. A magnificent heavy silver-plated serving piece weighing 6kg. It is very delicately engraved and sculpted, with just one of the four supports missing at the back, which does not detract from its aesthetic at all. The patina of the silver plating is superb, and in some places, the pink copper underneath can be seen. It measures 80 cm long (65 cm without the handles) and 48 cm wide.
