Superb workshop stool from the 1950s-60s signed L. Sautereau. Very, very sturdy. Patina on original paint, partially sanded to reveal only the sound metal and period paint. Everything is fixed with wax. Seat sanded, matte varnished and waxed. Rubber feet replaced. Manufacturer's plate riveted underneath. Very wide adjustment range for the seat: from 55 to 80 cm. Footprint 40 X 40 cm.
