Vintage Scandinavian Glass Owl Statuette Denmark Sulphur 70s 80s

Very pretty glass statuette. Large glass figurine in the style of a sulphur paperweight, featuring a stylised owl theme. Multilayered glass, white speckled with grey-blue on the inside and transparent on the outside, with a mask (eyes and beak) made of black and white opaline glass applied hot, ears elongated with hot tweezers, hollow inside even though the object remains quite heavy (approximately 1.2 kg). Unsigned and without a label but typical of Scandinavian glassmakers, given the quality of the glass, which is heavy and thick, and the manual finishes, probably Danish or Swedish from the 1970s or 80s. Maximum height approximately 15 cm, maximum width 8.5 cm, maximum depth/thickness approximately 10 cm. Vintage sculpture (20th century, 1970s-1980s), made in Italy and in very good condition. No cracks or chips, a few almost invisible micro-scratches from use, slight finishing imperfections (tiny bubbles and very small points barely visible in the glass, slight asymmetry) that testify to its handmade and artisanal production.
