Sky-earth floor lamp designed by Italian designer Francesco Fois and produced by Reggiani Illuminazione in the 1960s-70s. This iconic model of Italian design is characterised by its telescopic structure that applies pressure between the floor and the ceiling, allowing the fixture to be installed without permanent fixing. The chrome metal rod supports several adjustable spots, offering modular and highly graphic lighting. The pivoting diffusers allow for free orientation of the light, creating a dynamic play of light typical of Italian design from this period. This type of floor lamp is often referred to as “cielo-terra” (ground-ceiling) due to its vertical tension system. Adjustable height: from 2.60 to 3.20m! Italian production from the 1970s, in the spirit of Space Age / late modernism. Very decorative and sculptural, this floor lamp also serves as an ideal functional piece for a contemporary or mid-century interior. Materials: chrome metal, lacquered metal. Lighting: adjustable spots. Origin: Italy. Publisher: Reggiani Illuminazione. Period: circa 1970.
