Baccarat - 6 crystal Richelieu goblets

Elegant and timeless set of 6 flat tumbler-shaped glasses in crystal from the prestigious French manufacturer Baccarat, model Richelieu. Created at the turn of the 20th century, the Richelieu model is a classic of French tableware. It is instantly recognisable by its superb geometric cut work in scales (or honeycomb) on the lower third, which creates a spectacular play of reflections and intensely captures light, perfectly contrasting with the smooth purity of the upper part of the glass. Each piece in this set bears the circular sandblasted stamp of the Baccarat brand under its base, an absolute guarantee of authenticity (production after 1936). • Manufacturer: Baccarat (France) • Model: Richelieu • Number of pieces: 6 glasses • Height: 10 cm • Diameter at the rim: approx. 7 cm • Use: Ideal and very versatile format (Tumbler No. 2), perfect as a large water glass, juice glass, or whisky/spirit glass. Condition: No chips or cracks are to be noted across the entire series. The glasses are in generally good condition. Please note a slight dulling of the original transparency, with the presence of surface micro-scratches from use. One of the tumblers has a more pronounced scratch on its smooth upper part, visible in the dedicated photo.
