Lounge chair from the Aluminum Group series, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958, edition Herman Miller. The Herman Miller logo and references 683/84 and 938-011 are stamped in the metal under the seat. Polished aluminium structure. Four-star swivel base with glides, tilt adjustment via a knob. Seat and backrest in beige-ochre hopsack fabric stretched between the side profiles, with a headrest cushion. Condition consistent with age. Some marks and slight discolouration on the fabric. On one armrest, the original chrome is partially missing due to previous cleaning with an unsuitable product. Scratches and surface wear on the armrests, small marks on the base. The tilt mechanism and rotation function properly. Dimensions: 63 X 99 cm.
