Polster office chair Gleich Klöber in green faux leather, wood and metal – mid-century

Old swivel office chair Polster Gleich, from the seating system developed by the German company Klöber, founded by Margarete Klöber in 1935. The Polstergleich principle belongs to the brand's early research into ergonomic seating: height adjustment, adjustable backrest, and design intended to support a more flexible sitting position. The name Polster Gleich is still visible on the knob located at the back of the backrest. The chair features a seat and backrest covered in green faux leather, a black metal frame, and a star-shaped wooden base mounted on four wheels. The seat is height adjustable; the backrest is also adjustable. It remains in good condition. The faux leather is particularly well preserved for its age, with two or three small scratches and superficial losses mainly on the sides of the seat, likely due to contact with a desk. The wood and metal parts show some normal signs of wear. Two screws are missing from under the seat, with no noticeable impact on the stability or use of the chair. Very comfortable and still perfectly usable. Dimensions: H95 × W40 × D48 cm. Seat height: adjustable from approximately 45 to 57 cm. Weight: 9 kg.
