Abstract Composition with Birds Ervin Neuhaus Color lithograph on paper, signed lower right and numbered 83/100 lower left. 75.5 X 53.5 cm Ervin Neuhaus (1928–2012) was a French-Yugoslav artist of Serbian origin, born in Pančevo, near Belgrade. A versatile artist, Neuhaus explored painting, lithography, collage, sculpture, enamel, experimental music and video. His artistic language, often abstract and lyrical, draws on his Central European origins and his experience of exile. He is particularly distinguished by his lithographs with their refined and vibrant compositions, often printed in limited editions, signed and justified.
