Daybed / modular desk in blond oak furnished vintage 1950

Office bed unit that can easily be transformed into a bench seat. Furniture whose patent was filed on june 1, 1949 only 3 weeks before that of marcel gascoin, the “meublit” has often been wrongly attributed to him. In the upper part it has a small bookcase with shelves which opens with 2 sliding doors, a lockable foldaway bed and a flap forming a desk on the front. Designer: pierre & camille david.
