Patère wears coat and hat in iron and wood

This iron pad with double wooden hook turned, top for the hat, underneath for the coat must date from the early 1900s. Indeed, the fastening crest, made of solid wrought iron, is very nicely worked, old-time, not factory, embossed, in the shape of a flower, and there is still a little gold paint. The wooden parts are also finely crafted. The iron curves feature a charming rusty brown patina. This patère is completely in its juice, barely dusted to leave you the choice: keep the patina "natural" of a century of life, or give it more character by waxing or varnishing it. The defect side: a lack on the edge of the wooden hat holder, very superficial rust on the metal, scratches, stains and various traces. It is 27 cm high, about 15 cm deep and 12 cm wide (at the level of the wooden coat rack) and weighs 245 g.
