Pair of table lamps by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte in glass and brass

Incredible pair of table lamps made of brass and beautiful red and blue glass, attributed to the designs of pietro chiesa for fontana arte as shown by a pair of floor lamps documented on page 202 of the lighting bible "1000 lights " by charlotte and peter fiell, where we can see clear similarities with the work of pietro chiesa. At the base, the beautiful cut glass always present in the most excellent works of fontana arte, a brass body that shows its patina, holds the spectacular piece of fused glass in a clearly artisanal way, showing small bubbles inside as we can see in the blue glass. Or the fine lines or folds on the back of the red glass, a latent example of the craftsmanship of these beautiful crystals. As a whole, the color contrast gives an even more outstanding uniqueness to any decoration. Overall dimensions: 53 X 30 X 17 cm. Colored glass dimensions: 30 X 20 X 2 cm. Base dimensions: 17 X 17 cm.
