Vintage 1930s triptych barber mirror registered G.B Paris - 28 x 69 cm

Antique triptych mirror from a barber's shop in nickel-plated metal and brown faux crocodile, circa 1930, in good condition. This Art Deco mirror is a gem, weighing almost 3kg. The mercury glass is intact, although it shows a few spots here and there. The frame has aged at the back, with the nickel displaying a lead-coloured patina in places, while the front has a superb patina with a delightful silver hue. The clasp bears the inscription "déposé G.B Paris." It is likely a mirror from the Le Solide brand. The back in brown faux crocodile is beautiful and almost intact. Each panel measures 28×22cm, and when fully opened, it measures 28×69cm.
