Designer vase in the shape of a tulip from the 70s, orange red blown glass, Dragan Drobnjak
Description
An exceptional design for this slender vase with very developed petals. It is made of two-layer blown glass. The exterior ranges from an orange-red at the base to a deep red for the petals. White inside. It was designed by designer dragan drobnjak around 1970 and produced by the "october 9" glassworks in prokuplje (serbia, yugoslavia at the time). The design of this creation is incomparable with other so-called tulip-shaped vases. The last photo comes from the glassware catalog with the name of the model (lala means tulip in serbo-croatian). Dragan drobnjak (born 1941) is a glassmaker and sculptor who has received numerous awards in europe for his creations. Some of his works are exhibited at the glass museum of conches for example. This vase is in very good condition, with no breaks or cracks. A small, almost invisible tear under the base (see photo). Some normal signs of wear, very barely visible (see photo). Careful packaging and tracked shipping personal delivery possible in paris (to be discussed before purchase).
