Green speckled glass vase from Clichy with gold threads.

Beautiful glass vase from Clichy, a transparent glass with cloudy inclusions of pale green, enhanced with golden threads. This pale green, "mint" green colour is less common than the traditional pink or sky blue. This vase has a harmonious, elegant shape with its curves and flared neck. With lines typical of the Art Deco period, it likely dates from the first half of the 20th century. It seems to be blown glass. This vase is the result of lovely craftsmanship and artisanal skill. Its base is quite heavy, giving it good stability and allowing it to hold a large bouquet. It is in generally good condition, with no cracks, but does show some signs of its age, including two small chips in the thickness of the glass at the upper edge, which can be felt but not seen, and the golden threads are partially worn away. It measures 24 cm in height and approximately 14.5 cm in diameter at the opening (maximum diameter).
