Round vase in fine earthenware with floral decoration, Burée Manufacture Paris late 19th century.

A fine earthenware vase in a spherical shape with a long cylindrical neck highlighted by two rings, hand-decorated with an elegant blue and white floral motif on a matte beige background. The underside bears the impressed mark "Burée, rue de Turbigo n°49", attributing the piece to the Parisian manufacture Burée, active in the late 19th century. The balanced silhouette and naturalistic decoration evoke French productions influenced by emerging Japonisme and Art Nouveau movements. Height: 23.5 cm. The piece shows a beautiful patina of use. A discreet old chip is visible at the neck, as well as a very subtle old restoration on the upper edge, which does not affect the decorative presentation.
