Baxter & Lee birch commode and side tables - Art Deco

We are delighted to offer for sale this truly sublime suite handcrafted in England by Baxter & Lee. The suite consists of a curved front chest of drawers in satin birch with matching side tables. This is part of a larger suite that includes the chest listed here with the side tables, a corner TV unit, and a large chest/buffet. This sale concerns only the item mentioned in the title; the other pieces are available separately. These pieces are exceptionally well-made and aesthetically pleasing. They can be used in any environment: a bedroom with a table on each side of the bed or a living room, very versatile. The quality is sublime, made from curved satin birch at the front on an oak frame, with traditionally hand-cut dovetail drawers. Each piece bears the silver Baxter & Lee plaque at the front, a mark of pure quality. The condition is very good for the period, thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom. Some signs of age and use may be present on the top, but overall, they are in good condition. Dimensions of the chest of drawers: Height 68 cm, Width 122.5 cm, Depth 67 cm.
