Haviland Limoges porcelain service, France, made for the prestigious Parisian house M. Et F. Nicolas, 27 rue Marbeuf, Paris. This remarkable fine porcelain service features an elegant Asian-inspired design depicting birds among flowering branches, framed by a sky-blue honeycomb frieze and enhanced with fine gold filigree. The quality of the porcelain and the finesse of its execution testify to the craftsmanship of the Haviland factory. The service includes: 6 tea cups with their 6 saucers, Several additional saucers, 10 dessert plates. The pieces bear the red mark "Haviland Limoges France" as well as the stamp of the Parisian distributor "M. Et F. Nicolas, 27 rue Marbeuf, Paris". The set is presented in excellent condition. The decorations retain all their freshness and the gilding is very well preserved. A refined service, as elegant on a table as within a collection of Limoges porcelain.
