'pretzel' candleholder by dorothy thorpe, 1950s. An iconic american design by an iconic american designer. Twisted and swiveling lucite bases with a chrome holder for a regular candle. It is in fine vintage condition, there is wear/external cracking on the lucite as seems to always happen with these candlesticks, the best way I can try to describe it is that they look sparkly, like they are cracked on the inside, if anything I would say that makes them even more beautiful. It measures 21 X 15 cm in length/width and 19 cm in height. It weighs 685 grams. Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
