Large Size Wood & Sring Table Lamp By Uno & Östen Kristiansson For Luxus, Sweden 1960S

Rare large-size wood and string table lamp by uno & östen kristiansson for luxus, sweden, 1960s an impressive large-size table lamp designed by uno & östen kristiansson for luxus in sweden during the 1960s. The tall, elegant wooden column is combined with a wide metal base and a large cylindrical string shade, creating a refined and well-balanced scandinavian silhouette. The finely woven string shade produces a beautiful warm glow and casts a subtle linear pattern when illuminated. The rich wood grain and generous proportions give the lamp a strong sculptural presence, while the original switch is elegantly integrated into the wooden fitting. This rare large version almost never appears on the market. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition, with some corrosion to the metal base consistent with its age. The original luxus label, crediting uno & östen kristiansson, is present.
