Hand-painted polychrome Gien earthenware bird model service

Superb and rare 17-piece dinner service from Gien, birds pattern. This service is entirely hand-painted. It contains: 12 flat plates of 25cm with 6 different birds. 1 oval meat or poultry dish with a pheasant: 46/27cm. 1 round hollow dish (with a Heron motif) for salad or vegetables, diameter 30cm. 1 sauce boat with 2 different bird motifs. 1 pie dish with a woodpecker motif, diameter 33cm. 1 second pie or quiche dish with a partridge motif. The set is dated between 1938 for the plates and 1960 for the shaped pieces. A total of 9 different designs. In perfect condition!
