Rare coat rack by Carl Auböck with hat rack, cabinet, brass, walnut and beech, 1950s.

An elegant modernist wall coat rack from the 1950s. A vintage, antique, and original item, designed and made by the Austrian architect and designer Carl Auböck. This is a unique version, featuring an additional integrated hat rack. It is a rare piece and very likely one of a kind. Its frame is made of different woods, with the side parts in walnut and the slats in beech. The hat rack is in blackened brass, and the screws are also black. It is equipped with eight solid brass "S" hooks, five black and three in brass. They can be freely placed on the rows. The coat rack is in very good condition with marginal patina.
