Table lamp by ceramicist Jacques Blin

Height – 48 cm. Diameter – 16 cm. Very good condition, the lamp works perfectly. The original shade, which was slightly damaged, has been covered with wool, which can be removed if you prefer the original. Jacques Blin is a self-taught French ceramicist from the mid-20th century, particularly renowned for his sgraffito technique, which involves hand-engraving patterns directly into the slip before firing. These often naive motifs depict plants, animals, and imaginary creatures on a velvety background, most often in shades of green and blue, bringing mystery and poetry to each piece. This model is a fine example, a unique and exceptional piece.
