Flair Space Age 1970s side table, bedside table

Space Age side table, bedside table from the 1979s by the FLAIR brand, known for its pieces with sculptural shapes and a retro-futuristic aesthetic. Inverted U-shaped silhouette, with two identical rectangular trays at the top and bottom, slightly raised on the edges, like bins. This helps prevent objects from slipping easily. Made entirely of molded plastic, a material very popular in the 70s for its light, economical and modular side. The plastic has a slightly textured surface finish, probably to reinforce the grip of objects placed on it. The design is minimalist, functional and modular, with a touch of retro futurism. We feel the influence of the space age universe and Italian or Scandinavian design of the seventies.
