Old shell-shaped butter dish in silver-plated metal - trinket dish.

"Authentic retro silver-plated shell-shaped table service. This iconic piece from the 50s-60s features a perfectly functional hinge. Originally designed as a butter dish or caviar server, it now beautifully fits into our modern interiors as a chic key tray for the entrance, a jewellery box on a dressing table, or simply as a curiosity piece on a sideboard. Sold as is with its lovely original patina and transparent glass dish. Very good condition (only a small chip on the glass dish on the upper edge)."
