Old shell-shaped butter dish in silver-plated metal - pocket tray.

"Authentic retro silver-plated scallop shell table service. This iconic piece from the 50s-60s features a perfectly functional hinge. Originally designed as a butter dish or caviar server, it now beautifully fits into our modern interiors as a chic catch-all for the entryway, a jewelry box on a dresser, or simply as a curiosity piece on a sideboard. Sold as is with its lovely original patina and transparent glass bowl. Very good condition (only a small chip on the glass bowl at the upper edge)."
