Vintage amber glass porron/vintage carafe/pitcher

Amber molded glass porron, traditional Spanish pitcher. No shock. Height of 27 cm and 14 cm in diameter with a capacity of 1 liter. It is a mixture of a wine bottle and a watering can, the neck of which is very narrow and closable. Starting at the bottom of the container there is a sort of spout which narrows until it becomes a small opening of (2-3mm). A porro is normally filled with red wine. To drink with a porro, you start by placing the spout close to your mouth. The nozzle is then tilted gently until the liquid flows towards the mouth. When the liquid begins to come out, remove the pitcher from the mouth little by little until you extend your arm completely, and tilt your head slightly backwards. The whole art lies in the ability to swallow with your mouth open, so that the stream is continuous even for several swallows. Finally, bring the porro close to your mouth so as not to spill any wine.
