René Gabriel, vintage wardrobe

Vintage wardrobe by french designer rené gabriel. It is a series of furniture, buffet, table, chair, wardrobe, bed, so-called "sinisters" because built at the end of the war to quickly refurb the population. This solid wood cabinet is of good quality with a retro design typical of the 50s. It's in good general condition. It has been completely cleaned, the original shelves on the left side have been sanded and then protected by colorless oil. The two shelves on the right side are clumped wood painted black. A dressing bar can also be installed. Traces of use are still to be noted given its more than 70 years. Two traces of burns. One on the right side and one inside the cabinet at the top right (see photos). The locks are not original but keep quite that retro spirit. Despite these small defects, this cabinet remains in a very good aesthetic condition. 179cm high. 125cm wide. 50cm deep. 44cm X 61cm for shelves.
