Antique armchair from rural Auvergne, made of solid wood in the 19th century. Its simple and robust design is typical of popular furniture, created to last and provide natural comfort for everyday use. The high back, composed of slightly curved horizontal slats, ensures good support. The straight armrests rest on the front posts, while the lower crossbars reinforce the whole and guarantee excellent stability. The woven straw seat, of fine quality, harmoniously completes the structure. The joints are traditional, the proportions are just right, and the visible signs of time remain consistent with old domestic use, without compromising the structure. Dimensions: Height: 116 cm.
