Globe in relief 70s

Globe in relief published by taride in the early 70s. Manufactured under scan-globe license in denmark, it is identical in all respects to those sold by the latter at the same time, while being much rarer. The globe, made of cardboard, is captivating by its relief allowing to perceive the differences in altitude, as well as the type of vegetation (see photo of the legend). Its structure with matt golden metal strapping indicates the meridians and allows the globe to rotate and rotate. One rotating ring distinguishes between time zones and which part of the hemisphere is plunged into darkness while the other is in the daylight. It offers a beautiful lesson in geography and also geopolitics of the twentieth century (ussr, yugoslavia, czechoslovakia etc.). In beautiful vintage condition with regard to its age (see photos), it is a very beautiful piece for lovers of original decoration as well as for collectors.
