Neptune's Claws, a pair of wall lights by the Portuguese artist Clara Rêgo.

Clara Rêgo is an artist based in Lisbon, primarily working with ceramics and tiling. She creates hand-shaped sculptural pieces inspired by the forms and textures of corals, rocks, minerals, mushrooms, microscopic imagery, and other natural elements. Her work also draws on the symbolism of mythology, dreams, and meditative practices, which she weaves into imagined utopian narratives. Through this process, she explores themes related to female expression and emancipation, as well as representations of possible natures, in an artistic practice closely linked to catharsis and ritual. The two wall sconces presented are unique pieces created in 2025, designed to hold a candle each. These works evoke coral forms, from which they take organic structures and textures.
