Scandinavian Fanett horseshoe chair with 7 rungs

Scandinavian design chair from the 1960s by Ilmari Tapiovaara and Karlstorp. Black stained beech frame and teak plywood seat with curved outer edge for comfortable, snag-free seating. The reinforcement piece under the seat is horseshoe-shaped, the tapered base with a swollen central section. Stability is ensured by an H-shaped crossbar. The gondola backrest is made up of 7 tapered bars, firmly embedded in the seat. A barely legible stamp marking is present. A very decorative multi-purpose chair, thanks to this internationally renowned Danish design that is both understated, elegant and comfortable. A solid, flawless chair with its original patina.
