Great iconic brutalist lounge armchair, model the rock, designed by gerard van den berg for montis, netherlands 1970. This super comfortable armchair is fully upholstered in the original brown buffalo leather (nubuck). At the time the most popular model of montis and still very popular. The model fits in a modern interior, but also with a brutalist style. Condition: good vintage condition. The armchair is sturdy and still completely in its original shape. The buffalo leather is still nice and thick, supple and still fairly even in color. Natural signs of use in accordance with age (see photos). Light wear on the corners of the seat. Beautiful patina as they say. The leather has been cleaned and treated with leather protector.
