Antique painted wooden alcove bed, late 18th century, Louis 16, rare

Magnificent late 18th century Louis XVI period alcove bed. Purchased at Drouot. It is made of wood covered with a gesso coating and painted in pale green tones with blue-green highlights (period, not retouched). The bed frame is attached with large screws, the box spring has been reupholstered, as have the headboards. Very good condition. I am not selling the mattress; it fits a standard single mattress measuring 190 x 90 cm. Dimensions: Height: 117 cm. Width: 111 cm. Length: 199 cm.
