An impressive foldable desk or working station designed by Mummenthaler and Meier and manufactured in Switzerland, circa 1950. This amazing cabinet is nicknamed Magic Box because it reveals an entire working station when opened. It has a writing table, several shelves, drawers and storage units and an integrated reading light, that can all be stored away by closing this foldable piece. It was designed in 1928 and produced in the 1950s. This piece is in good original condition. Normally the magic box comes with a wood exterior but this one has been upholstered in green vinyl with tufted doors. Compact in size when closed. Opened it measures 167cm wide and 73cm deep
