Vintage Italian Brass Swan Neck Bookends, 1970s

Exceptionally large pair of vintage brass swan-neck bookends from Italy, made in the 1970s. The sculptural bookends are solid cast and have an elegant, highly stylised shape and are in unpolished condition. With an impressive height of no less than 27 cm, they are considerably larger than most brass bookends from this period. A decorative and functional set for a bookcase, library or stylish interior.
