Antique Art Deco lampshade in yellow marbled glass with bead fringes.

Very beautiful antique lampshade for suspension or portable use, made of marbled lemon yellow glass with speckles, featuring its original fringe composed of glass beads. An item from the 1920s-1930s, Art Deco period with still some Art Nouveau influence. Beautiful flared and curved shape, in lemon yellow glass shaded with brown, orange, and violet, with a marbled effect. The border is adorned with a very beautiful fringe made of long tubular beads in translucent white glass, along with small green, brown, and faceted transparent beads. The upper mount is in gilded bronze with a floral design, featuring a suspension ring. Sold without chain and not electrified. Approximately 23cm in maximum diameter and 25cm high including the fringe. Generally in good condition. No notable defects on the lampshade or the mount. However, the fringe has some missing and damaged parts: three strands are missing and seven long tubular beads are broken but present, with the most significant damage mainly concentrated on one side. Overall, it remains very decorative and the defects are relatively discreet.
