Large flush mount indirect light ceiling fixture from the Filmcasino in Vienna, 1950s.

We are delighted to present this stunning bowl-shaped ceiling light, an indirect light/flush mount ceiling fixture from the 1950s. Designed by architect Albrecht F. Hrzan for the Filmcasino in Vienna, an iconic mid-century cinema, this lighting was custom-made in a limited series of three pieces and was never commercially available. Made of aluminium, with a generous diameter of 96.52 cm (38 inches), it is equipped with six light sources. Carefully restored and professionally rewired, it is in impeccable condition. The finish is an elegant off-white cream tone with subtle soft beige undertones complemented by a deep Bordeaux red, providing warm and indirect light.
